Enrico Padovani was born in Parma in 1976. He graduated in Piano from the Conservatory of Music “Luigi Cherubini” in Florence obtaining the highest grades and obtained the Academic Diploma of Second Level in Piano at the Conservatory “Arrigo Boito” in Parma with vote 110 and praise under the guide of master Roberto Cappello. He also cultivated his passion for humanities, which led him to a Degree in Philosophy at the University of Parma.
He has won 13 National, European and International piano awards.
He has performed both as a soloist and as a chamber musician in numerous theatres and concert festivals in Italy, Europe and China, where he completed two solo tours that touched the cities of Shanghai, Hangzhou, Yangzhou, Zunyi, Liuzhou, Chongqing, Fuling, Quanzhou, Hefei, Xuzhou, Baotou, Dalian, Tangshan, Zhoushan, Jilin, Daqing.
In 2015 he recorded a monographic disc dedicated to the work of Frederic Chopin for the record label ZeroDB Classic, quickly exceeding one million streaming listeners on Spotify and enjoying considerable critical acclaim in Italy and Europe.
In duo with Alessandra Mauro has performed in various Italian and foreign theaters both in the 4-hand piano duo and in concerts for two pianos. They recorded the album “Mozart, works for piano four hands” released by Da Vinci Classics.
He collaborates with the Teatro Medico Ipnotico with which he has performed in prestigious contexts: Verdi Festival 2016 at Teatro Regio in Parma, Teatro Due, Teatro Sociale of Como, Teatro Florida in Florence.
He is active as a composer of film and theater music. He was supervisor of the soundtrack and composer of music for the film “Il Vincente” by Luca Magri. He composed the entire soundtrack for the show “Un figlio del nostro Tempo” under the direction of Lucrezia Le Moli.
He was a guest as a musician in television broadcasts and his piano recordings were broadcast on radio in Italy (Radio3, Radio Popolare, MoviClassica, Radio Gamma5) and Germany (Radio Jade).
